One of my scariest dreams was...

I have actually had about 5 dreams that were equally scary and weird. I recently realized that I have some sort of sleeping problem. I don't really know if its seroius or not but it is really weird. It started a few months back. I am watching the discovery planet and it has some episode about snakes and I fall asleep with it on. I wake up a few hours later, and I truly beleive there is a snake slithering on me or around me. I jump from the couch and hit the floor hard, waking my mom up. She gets in the front room asking whats wrong all I can say is snake and point at the couch. I realized that I was dreaming, but not until the next day. I refused to sleep on that couch that night. I genually beleived there was a snake on me, and was extremely scared. This has happened around five times since then. It is always something like snakes, such as bugs, spiders, or rats. Everytime it happens I wake up in a panic. I jump out of the bed or the couch and ussualy hit the floor pretty hard. I can NEVER sleep in the area that I had the dream. I never truly beleive it was a dream until I wake up the next morning.
