She always longed to leave the farm, and get an education. When she reached the age of eighteen, she finally pursued her dream. She had begged her parents to let her go to college when she graduated high school her whole life. They always refused. At the age of 18 she left her home without telling anyone. She went to Dallas, and got a job. She made her dream of being an educated woman with a career come true. It took hard work and dedication. She had to hold a full time job, while attending college. She eventually graduated college with a degree in medicine. She is now a nurse in Wichita, she moved back and her family accepted her back into there home. She still helps around the farm after her nursing shift.
