My older brother is an alcoholic. His dad was an alcoholic. I think to myself that thinking of the way his dad treated him or treated our mother, that would be enough to keep him from drinking. It isnt. It isnt always a problem. He recently had a child and he has actually stopped drinking almost entirely. He still does though. He had my mother baby sit one weekend and he drank and him and his girlfriend, baby talons mother, seperated for a week or two. Hopefully him drinking once in 3 months causing him to break up with is gf shortly will be a big hint to stop drinking. But if I know my brother he will blame it on something else. I really wish that he would completely stop drinking. For him, his gf, and his kid. He use to drink close to every day. I would find him in our garage drinking by him self. He doesnt even need anyone to drink with. Ive tried talking to him about it but its never helped. I hope my younger brother doesnt end up like that, he tends to copy our older brother.
