"Where were you when something incredibly important happened on a worldy level? (i.e. the assassination of Kennedy, the destruction of the World Trade Centers, The Challenger explosion, etc.) Write about it."
I was in sixth grade. Our teachers were acting weird. In my last class our teacher was acting very strange, and emotional. Towards the end of class she began to tell us something. She said that something happened today a few hours ago. She was going to tell us what had happened, then she changed her mind and said that she thinks we should be told by our family when we get home. She got very emotional when she was about to tell us. She was in tears. This was really disturbing and I really wanted to know what happened. But I couldnt find out. I had the longest bus ride ever that day. When I got home, I saw my brother in law watching tv. He was standing in front of the TV. My sister was on the couch watching. I looked and I saw it. It was the towers burning. My sister explained to me what happened. It was a very sad day for me, I didn't think that it would have affected me nearly as much as it did.
