Texas
I was reading the required storys for friday and it made me reminisce about the time I spent in texas. I have lived in texas for a good portino of my life. I moved there with my mom and my brothers dad when I was young, we lived in an apartment for a while. I don't actually remember much about that place because I was very young. There are only a few things that come to mind when I try to remember the apartment complex. I remember that my older brother got in a lot of fights. I saw him get into a fight one day with two black guys. It was him and a friend of his fighting two other guys... the reason this stuck in my head was because it was really brutal. Somewhere in the fight one of the guys my brother was fighting got 2 teeth knocked out.. and when someone caught them fighting i saw my brothers friend hide the teeth by kicking them off of the sidewalk. Stuff like that is hard to forget. I remember me and my younger brother shared a bike. Then we traded that bike to a girl upstairs for a pink "motorcycle bike". It was a bike that had a plastic body that looked like a real motorcycle. We would put a soda can on the tire to make it sound like a real motorcycle. Then i remember bobby my younger brother was riding it one day and got hit by a car. Luckily they were backing out... not really sure how that even happens but it did. He was ok. Whats weird is that ive seen my little brother get hit by 3 cars. All three times he was backed into. Thats kind of crazy. We later moved back to live with my grandparents for a year or so. I wen't to school in texas through 7th and 8th grade. I decided a few years later that i didnt like texans. The reasn behind ths is that when I lived in texas I got into about 10 fights. I moved away from texas and ive only been in one fight since. I also decided I hated texas in general. I hate how humid and ht it is all the time. I absolutely love winter, and dispise summer. I use to see commercials on tv in texas and like 50% of commercials that are trying to sell something would say that this sale is TEXAS SIZED, or this truck is TEXAS SIZED. I didn't realize how much I hated that til I moved away. So all in all I don't plan on going back to texas beyond a family visiting trip.

Thomas - This is very intersting! My younger brother was always getting hurt and it made me think of those times. He hit a park car once while riding his bike. I remember laughing my head off and getting in trouble for it later. As the big sister, I seemed to get blamed a lot. Other than the Dallas airport, I have not experienced much of Texas - you paint a pretty grim picture.
